The Story Behind 03STYLA:



The ‘03STYLA - Rep Your City’ Clothing Brand was birthed in the year of 2022. The creators of the brand grew up in the streets of Ōtautahi (Christchurch), Waitaha (Canterbury), Aotearoa (New Zealand), and they are proud of the city they were raised in. 

Ōtautahi has been through a lot of hardship over the years including earthquakes and a mosque attack, to mention a few. The staunch people of Ōtautahi are survivors, revivers and thrivers. Ōtautahi has not only survived, but it has been revived and continues to thrive despite the challenges it has faced. It is and always will be a city of kaha (strength) and a city of mana (prestige).

The number ’03’ is the area code for Waitaha. Therefore, the number ’03’ in the name ‘03STYLA’ represents the area code of Waitaha. The word ‘STYLA’ is simply a different name for ‘style’ or ‘styler’. Therefore, the name ‘03STYLA - Rep Your City’ means to represent the city of Ōtautahi (or the area of Waitaha) by wearing/styling the 03STYLA clothing brand.

Home is where the heart is. Therefore, if you were born, or raised, or moved to Waitaha and call this place home, then 03STYLA is for you!
